Sima is at home today. She didn't go to school because she is ill. She has a cough and a sore throat. She also feels very warm because she has a fever. She has the flu. The doctor visited Sima last night. She needs some medicine. He also told her what to do in order to get well soon.

The doctor's advice

Eat food that gives your body energy. Try to eat, even if you aren't hungry. You need to be strong.

Rest! Stay at home. Don't go to school or work.

Drink a lot of water or juice. They are better than soft drinks.

Are you coughing or sneezing? Cover your mouth and nose! Use a tissue, not your hand!

Wash your hands regularly.

Use your own plate, glass and cup. Other people can catch your illness from these things.

One day, it was very hot. An ant was thirsty and looking for some water. After walking around for some time, it came to the river side. To reach the river, the ant climbed onto a leaf. While it was going to drink water, suddenly it slipped and fell down into the water. It was drowning! At that time a dove from a nearby tree saw the ant. The dove was a very helpful bird. Seeing that the ant was in danger, the dove quickly dropped a leaf into the water near the ant. The ant moved towards the leaf and climbed onto it. Soon it was safe and went to the dry ground. At that time, a hunter nearby was about to shoot an arrow at the dove to hunt it. Seeing this, the ant quickly bit the hunter on his foot. Feeling the pain, the hunter dropped his bow and arrow. The dove quickly flew away to a safe place.

How are you? I want to tell you about a festival I recently celebrated in Sylhet. It was Pohela Boishakh, the Bengali New Year! The streets were full of colorful decorations, music, and traditional food. We ate panta bhat and hilsa fish, and I wore a beautiful red and white dress. There were cultural programs, and everyone was so happy. I really wish you could visit and see how we celebrate!

13. Composition

A Tourist Place that I Visited

The name of the tourist place is Saint Martin's Island. I went there last December. My parents and younger sister were with me. We stayed there for four days. I visited the coral in different shapes and colours. Also, I saw very clean and blue water in the Bay of Bengal.
